As I'm contemplating the existence of God and the immortal soul through the convoluted writings of Descartes (yes Philosophy stinks ><), thoughts of Lunar New Year goodies are creeping into my mind...I miss the bak kwa, pineapple tarts, lup cheong, chocolates...haiz...

I guess there are perks to staying in Singapore... So I've decided...instead of going down to Chinatown to buy sweets and treats for the Lunar New Year, I'll bake pineapple tarts (or at least will try to convince some mates here to do it with me)! Hahaha...I guess being overseas makes you do crazy stuff.

Then the best part of this...I thought I was the only one going insane in a foreign land. Here's an excerpt from Adium chat after I suggested the idea to a mate here...
