I'm blogging now at 2am, right after returning from an 80s-party at Frat-house Alpha Epsilon Pi, or AEPi for short.

The title of the post describes it best. I can't say for obvious reasons, but definitely, this party goes down in my life story as a milestone.

The music was awesome. It was 80s rock-and-roll with a LIVE BAND performing throughout! How damn cool. Some of my mambo favorites from the 80s were played. And it sure as hell sounded awesome with a live band doing it. Oh and American's don't mambo. Haha...

I would post pics but I think I didn't really care taking much. I didn't see anybody taking pictures anyway. Seems like nightlife parties and pictures don't mix in America.

This was like a pic of the outside-area of the frat-house that was used for smoking and chill-out (only pic I took at the party anyway). Oh btw, now I know why people use the term "chill-out". Because when you stand outside there in that courtyard in winter's night, it's a REAL CHILL-OUT.

This is the paper band tagged around my wrist by security. Even for a house party, security is hired. I think it's the federal law or something. Because the party was an open one, anybody and everybody could come. To prevent underaged drinking, you have to prove that you're 21 before you get the tag from the security. The colorful band allows you to get alcohol from the counter.

IMO, it's silly illogicality. America allows guns. You only need to be 18 to buy cigarettes. A driving license at 16. But alcohol at 21? Ridiculous!

Oh and this was the tacky outfit I wore to the party.

It was dirt cheap, got most of the stuff from a thrift store at Decatur.

Reminds me of Bright Like Neon Love actually...
